What information is needed to complete my taxes?

EVERYTHING! You’ll need any documentation relating to any income or expenses you incurred during the year, including your prior year tax return, driver’s license etc. The good news is we have tools available to make collecting this information simple! During onboarding, we will invite you to our Client Portal where you will complete an tax organizer and upload documentation.

I have a busy schedule; do I have to come to your office or meet in person?

No! Most engagements are handled virtually, starting with a consultation to get an understanding of your specific tax and accounting needs. We use modern tools to exchange documentation, collect e-signatures and file returns. Book a consultation today to get started!

Do you have offer Tax planning / Consulting?

Yes! A mid year or fall tax planning session can be very beneficial in understanding your tax situation. Tax planning is an effective tool used to (i) save you thousands in current / future taxes, (ii) review previous tax returns for errors or missed opportunities (iii) evaluate your entity structure and provide guidance and (iv) provide you the information needed to make important decisions and maintain compliance. You don’t know what you don’t know!

How long does it take to complete my return?

We understand the desire and need to be efficient, yet detailed results when it comes to your finances. Typically, returns can be processed within a couple days of your initial consultation. During peak tax season (Mid Feb - April), it may take longer to complete.

In the event a return would not be completed prior to deadline, an extension will automatically be filed on your behalf to ensure penalties and fees are avoided. We will always communicate estimated timelines or if an extension is required. We proactively reach out any other concerns that may arise. timely. How do you charge for services?

Our fees are based on the specific services provided, time and complexity involved. We offer transparent pricing and will provide an estimate either during your initial consultation or a proposal will be provided afterwards. Most engagements are priced flat fee, this sets expectations and avoids any surprises. Changes to estimated fees will always be provided in advance of billing.

How do I pay your fee?

That’s easy! You’ll receive an invoice to the email address used to register your account. The invoiced total is upon finalizing your return, invoices most be paid prior to return transmission. We accept ACH transfer, all Major Credit Cards*, Venmo and PayPal.

*A 3% transaction fee is applied to all debit and credit cards payments. A $25 returned check fee is automatically applied to all “returned checks” or declined payments.

How do I make estimated payments / tax bill to IRS?

The IRS website has made this simple by using IRS - Direct Pay

Estimated payments are due quarterly, however you can pay at anytime using the IRS - Direct Pay method., The Estimated Payment Schedule shows all due dates for estimated federal taxes.

When can I expect my refund?

In the event of the tax refund, you can use the Where's My Refund?” to check the status of your return. You’ll need a few pieces of information from your tax return.

How do I get a copy of my Tax Return?

We will send you a copy of your tax returns by request, there is no charge for providing you with digital copies of your tax returns.
